Location:

The nursery opened in July 2001. It is ideally situated to service not just Newtongrange but also Dalkeith, Bonnyrigg, Lasswade, Gorebridge and Mayfield and parents residing in Edinburgh but working in Midlothian. There is ample car parking which makes it easy to drop off and pick up.

The Opening hours:

Monday to Friday

Full Day Session: 08.00 to 18.00

Morning Session: 08.00 to 13.00

Afternoon Session: 13.00 to 18.00

Monday to Saturday

Full Day Mon - Fri: 07:00 - 19:00

Full Day Sat: 09:00 - 17:00

Fixed Holidays: 2 week closure over Christmas and New Year in line with Midlothian schools

Flexible Hours:

In July 2006 in a response to flexible working hours and European Standards Wizkidz opened the first Flexi Centre in Midlothian. Our extended opening times, including Saturday provide parents and carers with the opportunity to enrol children for short periods - minimum 2 hours or for longer sessions which do not comply with our normal nursery opening hours.

The Play Area

There is a secure outdoor play area that comprises of decking and soft bark. A good selection ofphysical equipment ranging from climbing frames and slides to tricycles, bats, balls and skittles are all available and the opportunity for energetic play on a daily basis..
